Suilend Deposits and Rewards FAQ

Suilend’s Account History traces lending activity on Sui, while Account Earnings separates interest and token rewards. Check completed transactions and the destination balance when reconciling a claim. The amount shown as earned and the amount available to withdraw answer different questions.

Where can you check deposits and account activity?

Account History
A summary of transactions for the account address, with filters for asset types and account actions. Individual transactions can be inspected in a Sui explorer.
Account Earnings
Lifetime net earnings, interest earned and paid per asset, and rewards earned per asset. Lifetime earnings are displayed in USD at current prices, so their dollar value can change when prices change.

Match the account address and lending market when comparing records. Suilend has a main market and isolated markets with their own parameters; a rate or available balance in one market does not establish the same conditions in another. A wallet signature authorizes an action. A successful onchain transaction and its resulting balance changes establish what completed.

Why can the interest rate and repayment amount change?

Borrowers fund lending interest. Each pool uses a dynamic interest rate curve that responds to utilization: scarce liquidity generally raises rates, while abundant liquidity keeps them lower. The supply APR is therefore a changing rate, and a borrow APR observed today cannot fix the cost of a loan over several months.

Track the accrued debt in the borrowed asset, alongside interest paid and any rewards earned. Token incentives are separate from the debt that must be repaid. Depositing claimed rewards is a different operation from repaying a borrow.

How should you read an sSUI balance?

sSUI represents SUI staked through SpringSui. Its staking yield accumulates in its value relative to SUI, rather than arriving as continuous token distributions. A supplied sSUI amount, its underlying SUI equivalent, lending interest, and separately distributed reward tokens therefore need separate interpretation.

Reading a hypothetical sSUI position

Both inputs are hypothetical: deposited balance = 148.8 sSUI; underlying exchange value = 1.06 SUI per sSUI. The gross underlying equivalent is 148.8 × 1.06 = 157.728 SUI.

The result expresses the SUI represented by that sSUI balance before redemption fees. It does not establish profit without an original cost basis, include separate reward tokens, or subtract any borrowing. Changing either input changes the gross equivalent. Withdrawal from the lending pool also remains subject to available liquidity and any collateral requirements.

Where do claimed reward tokens go?

Claim
Transfers the reward tokens to the wallet.
Claim and Deposit
Deposits eligible reward assets into Suilend. Reward assets that are not eligible for deposits are claimed to the wallet instead.

The Claim Rewards controls provide these alternatives. Choose the destination that fits whether the tokens should remain in the wallet or become a lending deposit. Reconcile the completed claim against both destinations when some reward assets cannot be deposited.

Why might an account lose reward eligibility?

Suilend’s account-reward eligibility guide documents a looping restriction that includes depositing and borrowing the same non-stablecoin asset, or depositing and borrowing the same or different stablecoins. A positive deposit balance alone does not establish reward eligibility.

For a position affected by that restriction, the documented restoration process is to unwind the disqualifying loop, repay the affected loan in full, select Restore Eligibility in the account dashboard, and complete the wallet signature request. This eligibility process is separate from the specific reward arrangements of preset Strategies.

How does reward tracking differ in Suilend Strategies?

The Strategies dashboard shows Net Value and an updated APR. Net Value is the market value of deposits minus borrows; for liquid staking tokens, valuation includes the underlying SUI value and accrued staking rewards. A large gross deposit can therefore coexist with a much smaller net position.

The Strategies documentation specifies automatic claiming and redepositing of sSUI rewards every two weeks, on Tuesdays. Extra reward tokens, such as STRAT where applicable, require manual claiming and swapping to compound them.

The USDC sSUI/SUI strategy has a further conversion condition: excess sSUI rewards become USDC only after sufficient sSUI has accumulated. A maximum withdrawal converts the remaining sSUI into USDC before returning it. An unconverted reward balance is therefore different from USDC already returned to the wallet.

Why can a deposit be visible but unavailable to withdraw?

A lending balance records a claim on a pool whose tokens may be borrowed. At 100% utilization, the pool has no tokens available for withdrawals or new borrows. Liquidity must return through loan repayments or additional deposits. Outstanding borrowing also limits how much collateral can be removed without breaching the position’s borrowing constraints.

SpringSui’s instant sSUI redemption is a separate capability from withdrawing sSUI that has been supplied to Suilend. It does not remove the lending pool’s liquidity or collateral constraints. Smart contract failures can also freeze funds, so an account record alone is not a guarantee of access.

What does the Account NFT control?

The Account NFT represents the Suilend account’s deposits and borrows. Transferring it to another address transfers ownership of the account and its assets; burning it removes access to the account. Suilend states that it cannot recover assets after the Account NFT has been transferred away. Treat this NFT as control over the position when investigating a mismatch between wallet ownership and account records.
